Description

Introducing the TYR Men's CXT-3 Trainer. The next evolution of TYR's most trusted training platform — rebuilt lighter, stronger, and more responsive than its predecessor. At 12.5oz, the CXT-3 is an ounce lighter than the CXT-2, achieved through a new lightweight breathable mesh upper with no-sew overlays that reduce weight without compromising structure. A new external TPU heel counter — extending into a full side rail — delivers the rearfoot lockdown and stability that heavy lifting demands. SURGENRG™ foam in the midsole converts applied force into elastic rebound, so every rep returns energy back to the athlete. The TYRTAC™ herringbone rubber outsole grips every surface, every transition, every direction. Built for the athlete who lifts, conditions, and refuses to choose between the two.

Reviews Summary
Customers say these training shoes are comfortable and stable for CrossFit and weightlifting. Many appreciate the wider toe box and solid platform for lifting, though some find them less suitable for longer running distances. Common feedback highlights excellent stability, responsive feel, and attractive colorways. Several users note the laces can come loose or feel weak, and a few mention heel rubbing during break-in. Some report durability concerns with the toe area and inner sole during rope climbs. Most praise the versatile performance across various training activities.

    1 Star

Arrived very late and both pairs with one shoe very crooked. The previous order was worse. I am not paying for shipping for TYR to try and sell their seconds!

    Best shoes you can buy

I bought an extra pair since they were on sale. I normally wear a 10.5 and like the 11.5 for fit. Great in the gym and for walking around. I love the wide toe box.

    great for weight lifting

I really love these shoes and I actually purchased them in white as well. First of all, the look great. Secondly, they are also very comfortable and great for weight lifting as they are almost flat.
